BWP distortion

I have to say... the guitar distortion on BWP is the best Ive ever heard.

I cant afford that multi effect box they were using but there must be a way to get a similar effect without it.

Any pedal tip for that clear, nice distortion?

Grab yourself one of those Laney amplifiers and it won't matter whether you have a multi effects box or not, the amp'll give you all the distortion power you'll need (to also get that BWP tone hopefully).

Anybody know how they get that backing BWP tone that so haunting? That singel constant tone thats very notacible on bleak, drapery.

I think those are from an E-Bow. They tend to have a nice tone like that.

yeah e- bow i believe, i think its present on all of the songs off of bwp actually not just those two. i love it on leper affinity towards the end of the song, its great shit

The best distortion still is and always will be a good Amphead like the Peavy 5150 or Mesa rectifier, effects, pedals etc just sound shitty compared to a big ass amp doing it tho my Line6 Pod comes pretty close
