cable tv vs. satellite tv

I am wondering what is cheaper as in per month payment cable tv or satellite tv? Also what about broadband access for both?

My cable broadband is good but I pay out the ass for the package I have: Roadrunner, digital cable with the HD package, phone, 2 DVR's (1 HD).
