Mirage and Moonmadness are the best. Benighted, by the first album did you mean the self titled one or mirage? is it any good?

haha when someone says "first album" how can they NOT mean their debut cd? camel is their first cd, mirage is their second, hence he meant camel. the s/t debut is very good, but mirage is great.

So I brought Camel's first album on saturday... I think its pretty awesome myself, Obvious now where Mike got Benighted from (Track 5 ). So what other albums do you guys recomend by Camel?? Is their live album any good?? (forgotten what its called but was released in 1984)

A Live Record was released in 1978. I have this 2LP and it sounds incredible! CD version got many bonus tracks, but sound weaker than on vinyl.

mh, i think mirage is a bit overrated among the forum users (as the snow goose). i like it but the s/t, moonmadness and rain dances are way better imo...
