Camel

The Snow Goose seems to be one of the better ones I have heard from them. Haven't heard all of moonmadness, so I can't really comment, though I was too intrigued with what I heard.

"Mirage" is a great album ... many parts which make it obvious where Mikael has got his inspiration from ... the other albums are quite good, too.

The best Camel albums are the first 3 : 'Camel', 'Mirage', 'The Snow Goose'. From 'Moonmadness' onwards they have become more commercial with each album, until they split up in the mid-80's. 'Harbour of Tears' is the second after-reunion album, it's ok, but nothing special. But 'Rajaz', released in 1999 is as great as their early masterpieces !
