After some interviews by Opeth, Katatonia and other bands from Terrorizer, I decided to listen some of Nick Drake's stuff...I always though that Opeth is something very original and in someways it is, but after listening some Nick Drake and some Camel (I really like Drake but Camel is not so good..) I've found so much similarities with their and Opeths songs, that I'm little confused...I cannot remember the songs, but some stuff from Still Life and Echoes (by Camel) are just like copies of each others. And on Drakes Five Leaves Left, there are a lot of similar vocal melodies as on Blackwater Park...I don't mean anything bad with this, but I just had to write about this, cause a lot of people on this board has judged some bands for copying Opeth. And that what bothers me; why judge band copying Opeth, if Opets music is all ready filled with same thing...
