Nick Drake: Five leaves left

mother of god.

edit: why is it always the truly daft and ignorant people that always go out on a limb to make bold and obviously very presumptuous statements?

LOL what's your damage little man?

I never neglected that they actually borrow stuff, on the contrary,
I just found a new similarity! I only said that I'd never accuse 'em of
stealing. Do you think they steal?

It doesn't matter if the Benighted song have borrowed something
from the great band Camel now does it?
You said it yourself: you thought the similarity between Nicks song
and Patterns in the Ivy was OK... So what's up?

Someone in this thread said Opeth has "ripped off a large spectrum of artists."
I am kinda new to Opeth, so can someone write down all the songs that have "borrowed" melody lines etc in them? I would appreciate it

i said it. but no, im too lazy. check the FAQ section maybe.

ugh I can list a few
Intro of benighted - Camel - Never Let Go
White Cluster acoustic part before the solo - Sonic 2 :erk:
Windowpane - Ripped off some track from grand theft auto, it's big
Harlequin Forest Intro - Ann Lie Ryde or whatever, don't remember the name of the song but it's the whole melody and progression
Various Lines from Comus, but that's not real rip off or anything
Master's Apprentice - Morbid Angel
Black Rose Immortal - Mortol Kombat :kabal:

well a lot of those arent really ripoffs, especially the song titles and lyrics

I just recently heard Witchcraft which is a Swedish band, as I was listening to "Chyld of Fire" I noticed that there is a riff and a vocal line that sound like some parts in Ghost Reveries. ANybody know what I'm talking about?
