Blackened is an easy choice for number one here...the only time when a Metallica opener came anywhere close to being the best track on the album, and even then there are at least 4-5 songs on AJFA I prefer to it.

yikes, never expected that listing would cause such a stir. seems it's not common opinion then that KEA is an average album

nah those don't do anything for me. it just feels like some dull riffs thrown in between a chorus of "jump in the fire!" "seek and destroy!" "whiplash!"

I've always been of the opinion that the debut is no competition for the three definitive albums that followed, but The Four Horsemen will always hold a hallowed place in my soul, and much of the rest is equally classic.
