Cannibal Corpse

Tomb of the Mutilated
Hammer Smashed Face EP (It's an EP but it's got a fucking cool Sabbath cover on it)
Eaten Back to Life
The Bleeding

Evisceration Plague is alright but nothing special

Haven't heard the rest, don't plan on it.

Having listened to all of the albums multiple times I can safely say The Wretched Spawn is the best tbh, they really took a big step forward with that album, easily the most technical thing they've ever done, the vocals aren't the best though, but if it had pre-1995 Chris Barnes it would be perfect. Butchered at Birth is arguably their best with Barnes, you should also check that out. Then listen to the other three Barnes-era albums (Eaten Back to Life, Tomb of the Mutilated and The Bleeding) if you're a big enough fan. I'd stay away from the others with the exception of Gallery of Suicide maybe, although I don't think that album is as great as people say it is.

I'm in a minority here, but Vile is my favorite album, followed by Tomb of the Mutilated and the Bleeding. Eaten Back to Life and Bloodthirst are also pretty good IMO. Gore obsessed is good for about two listens, but gets old pretty quickly. Gallery of Suicide sucks balls, I never understood why anyone likes that album. Wretched Spawn is technically their best I guess, but I personally find it generic and boring.
I initially couldn't get past the drum sound on Butchered at Birth, but after a few listens, I realized that the rest of the album is pretty sick, so I think I'm going to purchase that one.
Never understood the hype over Kill. As for Evisceration Plague, it would be my favorite CC album released after Bloodthirst, but that doesn't say too much.

So, I guess I like 6 CC albums, and think the rest are mediocre at best.

No. I like his vocals and love what he brings to the band, but Barnes was just better suited for their style of death metal at the time, and was probably their most interesting era.
