i know this might be a little naive to be posting on a metal board, but just in case....

dont know if anyone uses capo's but what capo would you recommend for electric guitar. Or if not an electric guitar, just a capo that doesn't throw your shit out of tune. Im using your standard kaiser quick change and they suck at a professional level. So... curious to know what anyone would recommend. thanks!

Shubb and Planet Waves capos here. I'm very happy with both, successfully used them on 7 string guitars and 5 string basses with no issues, and they of course work perfectly on 6 string guitars.

reviving this shiet cause I have the same question, but I want to one if anyone has tried the Dunlop capos? They are about the same price as the Shubbs here, but they look sexier:

I have one laying around somewhere.... bought it like 5 years ago. It does what it's supposed to do.

I use a Planet Waves capo - never had any issues with it. Use it quite frequently on my Telecaster. I prefer screw type capos over clamp style - just seems more stable.

Shubb. What ever you get make sure it is the screw down type not the spring loaded clothes peg type. Those spring type capos are prone to pulling the strings out of tune.
