Car Thread

Nice. My grandma had a Mustang just like that one in canary yellow though. My grandpa decided to store it in a barn for decades and let it rot. By the time my brother and I convinced him to let us have it to restore it was in pieces. Tragic.

Those 1966 Mustang coupes and convertibles are probably my favourite-looking car ever. Sort of an unassuming ordinary car shape for the time and yet made badass by the minor details and proportions.

I didn't expect to see quite so many Mustangs in one place even though they were celebrating 60 years of the thing. There may've been forty or more from the 1960s alone and every one would've been imported specially at one time or another as it's not like they were made for our market. Not seeing any in my photos that were converted to right hand drive but that's a thing that was done sometimes (edit: did find one).

This Honda Civic succeeded where my last one failed. Only km rather than miles but still impressive to me. Didn't reach it at the most convenient place so good thing I take photos with an actual camera instead of fumbling a phone like a pleb.

Had a princess and the pea moment today too as something didn't feel quite right. Tyre pressures were fine but I had a pebble stuck in the tread. 😅
