Carcass Heartwork = Masterpiece

Jeff Walker is doing vocals for To Seperate Flesh From Bones with an ex-amorphis guitarrist. Grindish metal...interesting, but not Carcass.

Has anyone heard the remastered version of this album? I can proudly tell that I've an original copy of the first batch since the release, few weeks after, and recently (about a 1 year ago) I tried to download it, because I wasn't at home at that time and wanted to hear it, but I downloaded the remastered version...it sounded like shit, there was a drum intro (if I recall correctly) on Carnal Forge that didn't existed in the original version, personally I think it totally sucked. Whoever remastered it, did a very shitty job to disrupt the quality of a masterpiece.

I'm about to purchase the remaster... so I should stay away from it?

I didn't listen to the "Heartwork remastered" version at length, because I was totally stupidified after a few seconds. I was like WTF?! I don't remember this sounding this bad/different, or this drum intro, or that thing here and there..oh well. Seriously, I didn't like it. Imho, the only thing that might make it worth is the 2 videoclips that the remaster edition comes with...Try to get the original, it's sure worth it, you won't go wrong with it.

Necroticism remastered might be worth it, since the production wasn't that good overall, but I haven't heard that one version remastered yet, so I can't tell.

"Heartwork" is a top five album of all-time for me. Right up there with "Master of Puppets" and "Reign in Blood". It's been like 13 years now, and I still play it at least once a month.

Don't forget - I reek of putrification!
