ive been readin dif interveiws and stuff from the band members and it sounds like at one point they got togethor and practiced songs off the heartwork cd.
mike amott seems like the only one who is really into the idea, and the other members are sorta blah about it "ill do it if he does it" and stuff like that.

yea in an interview with amott, he's like "people wanna hear the old stuff" so hopefully the whole reunion thing actual happens, and if it does i hope they tour the US other wise that would suck really bad

Heartwork is the best death metal album I've ever heard. No exaggeration. Amott and Steer is a deadly combo.

I am a fan, but only Ammott seems to be really interested and it would be naieve to think that they could recapture their old goodness, especially since they were declining since Necroticism

Amott is back w/ Arch Enemy now, Steer is in a stoner rock band named Firebird, and Walker does Cunt-Tree (country) music.
Seems highly unlikely the will reunite but never say never.

For me it's going to remain my favorite. And THE album that got me into Carcass full blown and into DM period was their best of. "Wake Up and Smell The Carcass".
That album brings back some great memories.
I remember picking that up on Cassette and popping it in my shitty player in my car. The hairs stood up on my sack from first listen.
