ok, I'm surprised and a little excited. GENITAL GRINDER!! They've got my attention for a second tour. Heres hoping i can make it!

Yeah it's a great setlist. My brother got me a ticket today. Yay! How awesome would it be to see Inpropagation as the opening song?!

Carlo Regadas played on Swansong, and Michael Amott didn't tour here with them - it was that Hickey guy.

If anyone's looking to check out Carcass, Heartwork is probably the best place to start. It has the best balance of accessibility and heaviness. Then check out Necroticism. Forget about Swansong.

Yeah that's what I reckon as well. It just doesn't fit with the rest of them. The Blackstar album was similar, but I didn't mind that because it wasn't done under the Carcass name.

Soundworks Touring would like to inform all metal fans that tickets for the forthcoming CARCASS Australian tour are selling incredibly fast & better than anticipated.
Due to this, sellouts are expected well before the tour commences & Soundworks recommends all fans purchase their tickets asap to avoid certain disappointment!

My brother got mine when they were released last Thursday, just in case!

I could have told Soundworks that it'd sell out!

Let's talk about Carcass again. One of the things I like about them is that each album is so different, so you can't say they have any set style.

Reek of Putrefaction - pretty crusty album of short songs. The band was a 3 piece then. They apparently weren't at all happy with the way it turned out, for the production is horrible.

Symphonies of Sickness - a much clearer album, with heaps of cool songs. It sounds more like Necroticism than Reek.

Necroticism: Descanting the Insalubrious - pure awesomeness. The production wasn't as polished as the album that followed it, but the songs are amazing. This is the first album that Mike Amott played on. Listen to Inpropagation kick in after the intro and then go "raaaaa" in your living room, with a "fuck yeah, this kicks arse" smile on your face.

Heartwork - awesome as well. It's a fair bit more polished than Necroticism, and is more accessible. Great songs and excellent melodies from Steer and Amott.

Swansong - not bad as a rocky metal album, but I wish it hadn't been recorded under the Carcass name!

when i bought my ticket which was about a month ago or so, it cost me $65 but someone i was talking to got their's for about $55 i think a few weeks b4.
