Celebrations for JayKeeley

Thank you thank you thank you! I'm enjoying my day off work today, looking forward to the long weekend, and still recovering from the Arch Enemy / Evergrey show last night....

Wow - I'm getting all these cool CD-Rs from you guys! Nope they didn't turn up today, but no matter! Still almost 7 hours left until my birthday ends and I'm about to step out for dinner with Haddsie.

Oh and 'bump' for all those who didn't notice it was my birthday and congratulate me yet! Go JK, it's your birthday!

Might have to watch some Kevin Smith tonight. :D What do you reckon? Chasing Amy perhaps?

ANY Kevin Smith will do! Except Mallrats maybe...

Have you seen Drawing Flies? Known as the "long lost View Askew movie," Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier produced it, written and directed by a Canadian buddy of theirs. A bunch of the typical View Askew actors in a black and white film about being on welfare in Vancouver searching for Sasquatch in the forest to strike it rich. Jason Lee is the lead, hilarious stuff.

I've heard about both Vulgur and Drawing Flies. Is Vulgar the one with the clown on the front cover?

TV was ruthless to me today. It kept me from going for a DVD by throwing on Omen III: The Final Conflict (uncut), two worthy minutes of Escape from LA, and some new show on FX called Hurt Bert. Has anyone seen this last one yet? Pretty funny actually.

Happy belated birthday you bastard! :kickass:

Yes, I am up pretty early on a Saturday morning. Carly woke me up shrieking in her room, must have had a bad dream....

Now having a cup of coffee, smokin a bowl and jammin "A Lethal Dose Of American Hatred," the latest from Superjoint Ritual. :worship:

WAKE AND BAKE!!!!!

...and Papa - aren't you also going to review the latest Morbid Angel? That's surely a golden nugget you've got tucked away....

(I'm just wrapping up an Amon Amarth review btw).

Yes, Ironically I am listening to the masterpiece that is Heretic and yes a review is on the way, it's just quite a bit to absorb. Can't wait for you guys to hear this one!

As far as Superjoint, yeah I think I will be reviewing it... I think it is an important record, for Anselmo, the band, and the scene in general.
