ah yes, i thought this would become a widespread opinion... it's not you, i also think it looks a bit like a starship. however, to be true to the intentions of the author, it's not. it's a building, seen from the bottom looking up. following on my stressful "omfg! lookz like a trekky type of thing! g4mer! l33t! w00t! oh noes, dt go sci-fi!" comments, niklas tried to emphasize the elements that might help seeing it as a building instead. i think in the end the connection with a spaceship can still be made but it's not as overbearing as before, especially alongside the rest of the cityscape.Irza said:and the red thing on the right looks like a transportation vehicle, (or maybe i've been watching too much of star wars).

Anyway, cant wait for the album.
Well, the fact that it extends out in a horizontal plane relative to the rest of the city doesn't help it much in that regardrahvin said:niklas tried to emphasize the elements that might help seeing it as a building instead. i think in the end the connection with a spaceship can still be made but it's not as overbearing as before, especially alongside the rest of the cityscape.
that was one of the aspects that were supposed to remain unchanged, of course. clearly, an upright building very similar to the others on the cover wouldn't have created any problem of perception in the first place.MagSec4 said:Well, the fact that it extends out in a horizontal plane relative to the rest of the city doesn't help it much in that regard
