Statements were indeed made in the CDC chat by Thraxdude and Scott that have not been explained or clarified regarding the future of this board. I know that I made a pretty bold statement in this thread some time ago about those statements and how I feel about this board and what I feel would happen to Anthrax's reputation if it was indeed shut down. (If this board is indeed shut down, I'm not following to the CDC or any other unofficial board that springs up. I'm done.)

If it's a matter of people bitching about Anthrax and decisions that have been made - then, with all due respect, Thraxx, you'd probably be deleting half the threads on this board. As long as someone isn't making threats against the band or any board members, or really crossing the line when they make some comment (and I only have a vague idea where that line would be), I'd argue to let people have their say, positive or negative. I don't agree with everything that people post here, but I do love the passion that people still have for this band - and that should mean something to every member of Anthrax, past and present, as well as the moderators.

In that vein, I'm challenging BlackThirteen and Thraude: State your position on whether this board is remaining open or not, and please explain your comments that you made in the CDC chat.

That would be interesting, but I really doubt it will happen.

Besides, I think Thraude is gone. He wasn't happy here anymore, so if he left, I don't blame him. Why stick around if you're not happy?
