Cheapest way to fly UK>USA>UK?

Hey guys,

Gotta fly over to kentucky this summer for a wedding, although I have no clue about flights to the states and back. Im a master of European travel though lol.

Any tips on bagging the cheapest flights?

Ideally it would be cool to fly into new york, spend a day and then get on a low cost flight to KY.

Cost isnt such a factor as far as I am concerned, but my mates are very cash strapped indeed!

On a side note, what is a good budget hotel chain in the USA?

FYI in all my overseas travel, it always ends up being ~$1700 round trip every time.

As for hotels, just use orbitz also, and find the cheapest. We are full of cheap hotels here in the states, there are way too many to list.

I flew to Spain for 700 roundtrip

OP just book as far in advance as you can, priceline has always been the best for me, motel 6 or red roof inn for budget hotels

I just flew Heathrow-Miami-Heathrow for £360 return yesterday with Virgin Atlanic.

They do daily flights to NYC from Heathrow

And VA looks to be the most comfortable in terms of seats, etc for that long of a flight
