Ok im pretty strapped for cash, and my band is slowly forming, what is the absolute cheapest way to get setup for doing some garage practicing?

I dont really care about being ready for concerts - ill cross that bridge when i get to it.

thanks

In all honesty, if one of your guitar players (or anyone in the band) has an extra amplifyer, the cheapest way is to get a microphone (Radio shack is good for cheap ones you dont plan on using for anything other than practice) and sing through the amp. In the long run though, youre better off finding a local rehearsal place and practicing there. They really arent that expensive, they are usually aroundl ike 15-20 bucks an hour, and that isnt bad out of a 5 person band at all, all the equipment is there, so all you gotta bring is guitars and cymbals usually, and your band is less likely to dick around since its not at a house so youll get more accomplished in a shorter time.
