To Glenn and Jen, thank you, you are both amazing and spend tireless hours bringing amazing music to all of us. You both could never be thanked enough for what you do.
The Crew: you are all awesome and F anyone who complains about how things are run and transitioning smoothly between bands. You do what you can with what youve got and you keep the chaos at bay. With out you god help us all...haha
The Crew at Vinyls, Centerstage, and Security: You all are always very courteous and helpful, and a cog in Glenns well oiled machine!
The Bands: AMAZING performances, not every band is in a genre I like but they all put on an amazing show ( I made sure I saw every one) on top of that they all were accessable and friendly wonderful to meet and hang out with, something that makes this fest so special. Where else can you meet your favorite band and get to hang out like old friends?! (another cheer to glenn for that) Thank you again you all make this fest what it is!
The Artmore: I know most of you probably have your qualms about them but they are not required to open their hotel to a bunch of metal heads for 3 days and they do a fantastic job making all of our stays as good as possible....they spent an afternoon putting up christmas lights to enhance the courtyard for us....and lets face it im sure we all dont keep tidy rooms while we are there....
To the fans this year: Thank you for not making Glenn regret his decision for letting those who wish to participate in moshing do so. Moshing is not my thing but from my vantage point everyone was extremely courteous and respectful (with exception to the guy in red, come on man! jeers to you
).
JEERS:
Anyone complaining about anything in regards to this fest ie (line ups, timing, etc.) This fest would not even be possible without the people who put in tireless hours to bring us amazing music. This is a labor of love and a gift and we should treat it as such! I can personaly say that I would not have learned or know of half these amazing bands if it werent for this fest and there have been a few times where I only knew one band announced but found new favorites once I got home and "studied up" for the next year. A lot of people take this fest for granted, shut it and see it for what it is, an amazing opportunity that we may otherwise not have!
The sidewalk construction, but cheers to it being awesome next year!
