Chicago Powerfest Welcomes Paganfest Tour

my only issue is that The PaganFest doesnt really need sponsors since it is it's own enity already. It isnt like Powerfest is flying them over. How is this being worked out?

They don't, and we're not looking for sponsors for the Paganfest...sponsors for the Powerfest or Powerfest bands merely get the bonus of attending the Paganfest show with the added perks I mentioned.

Also, even though you may think nothing of it since it's "just a tour stop", but let me tell you, it ain't cheap! We still consider this a significant risk, so I hope you're right, Bob, & that it'll draw big. Well...it better, or I'm coming after you! :p

it will draw big, they will draw the same people from the Finntroll show, who had about 300 there. Plus I know lots of people who are traveling in for this show. It will do nothing but help the fest. I put Jasons life on it.

Don't drag me into this!
My life's worth a lot more than the guarantee for this fest!
(At least I sure hope it is, or these bands have a REAL cut throat agent!!)

I think the inclusion of Pagan Fest will help seal the deal for a lot of the out of towners who may have been on the fence about coming.

Here's another brilliant BLABBERMOUTH post:

Chicago is one huge metal starved city we definately need more shows like this, although we can pretty much do without all the power metal or mall metalcore. seriously
