yeah, we figured its just easier to use reason for drums...

and the vocalist disappeared after recording the audio, so if there`s anyone here who thinks he might be up for it, we intend on doing needled 24/7 next, with a real drummer, so... gimme a call sometimes :p

and btw thanks for the feedback, glad u liked it...

What if any or all of those guys wearing wristbands? Would you like it then too?

Ok, here's Next In Line. As I've already mentioned in my description: This was the hardest COB I've ever played, it is full of little mistakes, timing problems, sync problmes and sounds terrible after the upload. I know Youtubes quality isn't the best but this time it really affects the tone alot! Probably the worst cover I did in the last year but I can't do it better. Do you know the feeling when everthing you play or record sounds like shit? I always thought it's impossible that a guitarists playing getting worse but now you can see that I'm wrong :D

Well... when you download my video (sorry, but I don't have the mp3 anymore) and pan to left and right and listen to both guitars you can hear that my playing is damn unclean compared with my other videos... Or it's my empty battery which affects the tone because my tone in Wrath WIthin is much better.

ANother thing... I can't remeber where it was posted but somebody asked about the difference between the Korg PX 4 and the Korg PX 4D pandora... if you want to hear the differnce just listen to my Downfall song on Youtube (the one with only my guitar and keys) and compare it with Mitchs videos. I used exactly the same settings Mitch uses for his recordings. I always have my gainboost off but I have so much more distortion in it so I guess it must be the older version of the Korg which makes the tone cleaner (or the diffenrent volt in UK) ( we both have a J-50BC + Je-1000 in our guitars). Or Mitch isn't telling the truth and uses some post-effects. Mitch? :)
 
I'm pretty sure I do just use the settings I posted on my vid. I sometimes add chorus for solos but on my YouTube videos, the tone is the same throughout the entire song, so it stays off. I didn't think there was a difference between the PX4 and PX4D at all, except the recording funtion. It must be something to do with the wood of the guitars or something? Or our soundcards?
 
Nah, because you also have that cleaner tone when you play with your Ibanez or whatever it is... the pink guitar. The wood of the guitars is the same and I also have this much distortion in it when I play with my B.C. Rich or other guitars. I also don't think that it'S the soundcard because I've never heard of a soundcard that changes the tone or reduce distortion. A soundcard can record with higher quality but that's all I think. But I'm pretty satisfied with the tone I have now and I rather prefer a bit more distortion over this crunchy less distortion tone you have. It all has pros and cons. I think my tone is better for a few AYDY and most Blooddrunk songs but yours is better for the first 4 albums.

The only thing what annoys me is that I need a cleaner tone for solos. Once I hit one of the 3 deeper strings the tone isn't as clean I want it to have. It's crystal clear for the g,b and e string though
 
off topic a bit, but does anyone think alexi used a little wah in the angels dont kill solo? i know he uses it sporadically.
 
Well after being around for a few years, here's my first contribution to this thread :lol:



Not a full cover and far from perfect, but just learning some cob to get back into the routine of practicing.
I'm kind of bummed because I'm watching some of my old vids from 2-3 years ago and I was a much better player then and picked much cleaner :(

I make excuses and say its just because I lost all my metal powers when I cut my hair, but it's because I really have been slumming on practicing for far too long :lol:

Also, turned the mm-04 back on for this one!
