Yeah but more like the verses in that demo (for the squirrel thing). He sounds like a chipmunk. That's the most ridicilous shit ever. Vocals are the area where Alexi could improve.

Yeah im thinking if they could crank out an album full of demo-like stuff they could redeem themselves. I've got no problem with the new stuff, but there is an obvious change...and WOW....it's painfully obvious what kind of change it is.

Inearthed has this sort of depth to it that later was put more aside with COB and then largely forgotten. I think Inearthed is extremely depressing and sometimes beautiful music. It tells about Alexi's mind back in the day. There's a staggering contrast in it, a clearly potential musician mind but with not enough experience on the thing. But these are just demos. Too bad the best material wasn't used for a proper release.

Actually, listening to the Inearthed demos makes me think just how mature the music sounded, considering the ages of the guys when it was recorded.
Without knowing much about the technical side of playing music, some of the Inearthed songs had an almost melancholic and sombre yet beautiful feel to them.
