but ya he wont give up the idea though, he still thinks they're hardcore

I know its very dick of me to expect him to think other wise but i am one who is strongly against hardcore, in my opinion not to offense anyone on here but hardcore is just a mix between punk, poser metal, and guys who cant grunt or growl correctly so the just shout then sing really high.....

Maybe he was referring to something being hardcore as in extreme or heavy, not as in the musical genre.
