LOL, good. Shit was ridiculous.
Yeah, it was a ridiculous name and only they would do it, but fuck they deserve the right to do it without whingers getting shit banned.

Yeah I wondered about that. Almost like they were sick of hearing from Dee and whatshisface. They surely stand to spend more money fighting this than they have to gain.
Yeah the movie got started and dropped by a few studios until now Netflix picked it up. I don't what's true or not in the Dirt. I know Nikki's book The Heroin Diaries is the one everyone says is bullshit. But I'm sure the Dirt isn't all there either.Yeah well we all know he's got a movie to sell and I am starting to wonder if they have left the run for it too late. I think The Dirt was as much a work of fiction as it was actually recounting events. I'm sure Tommy and Vince especially talked up more than half what they actually did over the years. But the book is 10 years old (or thereabouts) and things have changed, including the fan base they once had. I'm sure the movie will still sell to many people but I think even Tommy knows that it's a hard sell to anyone but die hard fans and for that reason putting himself in the limelight anyway he can is only going to help that sell.

Is it shiny new avatar day?!
Yeah, I'm sure I'll watch it eventually..after it's been on Netflix for a few years lol. But you're right, it's been to long and too much hype.I think there are many stories that have been embellished for the press over the years and I'm sure it's happened with every rock star. The Dirt was an okay read but the stories really seemed to go on and on and on. Some of the stories were almost like they were told by a bad novelist who needs 1000 words but can only think of 100 so he continually pads out sentences until he gets there. I'm sure MC did a lot of drugs, drank a lot of booze and fucked women, but when the retelling of each story takes up a chapter and is different every time you hear it mentioned, bullshit might not be the right word but truth also isn't the best one for it.
10 years ago I might have been interested in seeing the Dirt, but now days I don't think I can even muster the interest to watch a trailer for it.
Yeah it's my (silent) protest against Gene and the boys who wont give me a fucking Dark Angel album!!

Those are pretty much my feelings on them. I'm always down for a good Vince is fat meme thoughMaybe I'm just becoming an old fart but I am getting sick of MC and their bullshit. In the 80's I was interested on the story. In the 90's I was wondering if it was true. In the 00's I was getting sick of them and in the 10's I just don't give a fuck and their off stage antics bore me. But like you I'll probably watch it one day when no one else is watching it.
