Weird timing on this for me. I was just looking this up last night. I found it on Amazon. But I went to Combat's website and I don't see any way to order anything. There is no store that I could see. So I'm not sure what he means by shipping out pre ordered copies first? Has anyone else been to the site? Am I just not seeing it?

All I see on the combat site is the list of bands and Chris isn't one of them.

I just went directly to their website and looked at everything. I couldn't find anything about merch or store or shop.

Oh yeah I got that too, but I did find https://merchlive.com/combatrecords/ but I still didn't find Chris anywhere there, not even in the artists links at the bottom.

Edit: There is also a link for empmerch but that site seems to have a redirect on it so it might have been hacked, or badly made.

A bit of searching offered the following.

And that is a preorder from a site called deep discount with a release date of 2/14/2020, I can't find any preorder linked to combat or emp.

But further to all that I found an article on Blabber that says it was supposed to be released November 22 so it's a long way behind schedule. The Blabber page also says the album can be preordered but there is no link to where from.

Not a great way to get a product out there! Or make people take you seriously when your website has no shop or link or even the artist on the list.
Guess I'm going with amazon.

Yeah it's definitely strange. The Combat merch site looks like it's run through an external merchant, which is okay but to tell the world you can get preoder but not have it seems weird.

Actually I'm just looking at that merchlive and while it might well be legit it doesn't look like authorised merch. Looking at the "collections" for the big four and I'm fairly sure the Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer shirts are not official, therefore maybe not authorised. The banner ad says they are helping bands with gas money but there is no evidence of that.

If the site is not Combats official store site then that means the official site is https://combatrecs.com/ and there is no shopping link so any comments from Jnr or Combat about pre orders are obviously from other sites.

Oh Jr. Way to cheap out. I wonder how long a site with unauthorized merch can stay around?

Well I do wonder if it is actually unauthorised or just looks it. Maybe there is some licence they were able to get to produce unofficial stuff. I know markets here get away with selling stuff like that because they aren't using actual copyrighted images, they change them enough to avoid the copyright, some even have different logos. The Merchlive site appears to print on demand so maybe they are authorised but unofficial.

In Bali the street vendors will copy a t-shirt, CD, DVD anything in front of you, print the exact copy of cover and sell it to you for $10 and it's not against the law so maybe sites as bold as the merchlive one are not breaking any actual laws.

It appears no one knew they were working on one. Although it could still be fake news. Apparently the band and the producer were in the same country at the same time and the producers cryptic message puts it all together. I'm happy if it's right but it seems awful quick for a band like Maiden to get an album done and they are booked fairly solidly for 2020 too. So who knows.

Presents are done, kids are occupied, now we relax until we have to head off to my parents for the rest of the day.

Well it was an all day affair and we had to stay until dark so the kids could see my brother's light display but its wasn't a bad day overall. I managed to get some shit stirring about the cruise in because my mum takes the bait too easily. However we all left still talking to each other so that's positive!
