Classics Reborn

Was surprised to hear and old classic today at my kids school concert. One of the groups is doing their performance to Bad Reputation by Joan Jett. I'm going to ask if they can put more metal in next years show :)

My daughter will probably tell them to put something from Kiss or Metallica in. I'm going to start reminding her early next year to tell the teachers what they should sing, they'll get sick of her by concert time and just give in :)

The fucking up roar SJW's make when they get wind of shit they don't like happening at the school I reckon my efforts will be shot down quickly because the only cleansing and pure music for kids would be done by someone like Taylor Swift or some other pop diva.

26 years since Kyuss Wretch. All four Kyuss albums are classics.

Another band that ended up in court bound by legal bullshit which shouldn't have happened. Still, Josh Homme might have won his bullshit case but everyone who mattered still knew Vista Chino was basically a Kyuss album.

The names may not mean much outside Australia but this is one hell of a classic line up to celebrate one of the best front men ever.
Apart from the two former members of AC/DC, James Morley from the Angles has been the backbone of so many great Aussie songs and Skeenie is probably the hardest rocking guy I have ever seen on stage, the guy goes off like he's got a fire cracker up his arse these days.

In about 2009 when The Poor came back from a long sleep Skene came back as one hell of a bad arse singer on stage. Their albums are hard to get but I've seen pits at The Poor concerts more wild than any death or thrash metal band.

The only two pits I have seen rock harder than when The Poor are on stage are Alestorm three years ago and Morbid Angel '93.

Depends on our venues to the pits these days. Some venues, especially outdoor venues are as good as they ever were but other places like night clubs and big concert venues that get used for other things as well are too worried about health and safety to let people form a pit.

However different states preform different in this country. Melbourne always has more enthusiastic audiences than anywhere else and usually gets bigger crowds.
