Classics Reborn

Another band I found recently which I know I ignored in the late 80's is Sabbat. No idea why I never listened to them but geez their debut is some of the best thrash to come out of the UK ever. All those fuckwits who claimed Andy Sneap was not good enough as a guitarist to play in JP deserve to have their ears removed. The guitar playing on the first two albums (I haven't heard the third) is great. The vocalist for the first two albums is the guy who sang through Skyclad's most prolific period but his voice is so much different in Sabbat. I haven't looked yet but I think Sabbat is probably still available to buy so I think they'll be on the buy list when it happens.

I've only caught a little of Sabbat but I didn't hate it.

I can't think of too many UK thrash bands right now, (other than Xentrix and they aren't like them), so I have to say they are one of the best I've heard from over there.

Yeah he did around about 2010ish, was apparently a NWOBHM band. I don't know if I've heard them or not.

Every band has to have a gimmick but the 8 foot ugly creature was pretty much an Iron Maiden thing :)
I don't hate what I heard, not sure whether I want to hear more or not. I do think Sneap played better in Sabbat though.

How many Eddie Money's to the dollar? :p

Sabbat is definitely more metal than Hell. The guy singing in Hell kind of reminds me of someone from a hard rock band that really wants to be a metal singer but his band wont agree.
