Classics Reborn

I suppose Kurdt really does deserve a fair bit of credit. Some of the MC years may not have been great, but he was really the force behind the best songs and times of the band. Maybe there was times where the band stood on their own but Kurdt was still in the back ground. It's just a pity he chose the path of pop :(
Yeah he does. And he got Mike in, at least the second time around. I'm not really sure how he came to be in the band in the first place. Other than being awesome! But man hearing Kurdt up on stage doing those old songs kinda clears my vision on him. He's not as good on those soles and there is just something missing on the riffs. Was he playing in Metal Church during the Ronnie years?

Yeah I'm not sure. I watched the Wacken performance from a few years ago when it was released and I really didn't like it. I know I went straight for the old songs and wanted to hear songs like Badlands etc but it just didn't feel right even given the time difference.

According to wiki Kurdt was in the band doing everything from writing to recording to producing to doing the artwork throughout the Ronnie years. But it wasn't until Generation Nothing that Kurdt took over absolutely everything and wrote almost all the album except for two songs, one of which was a Wayne era song.

Whereas some people would get tired, over worked and maybe even grumpy, Kurdt decided it was easier turning everything he played into pop music :)
