We might be past grim here, we actually have daily press conferences with multiple figureheads explaining where each new case is, what area is effected, locations where cases have been and whether or not those cases are obeying rules. These press conferences are probably more watched than any news service because people want to know what effect new cases are going to have, whether they stay in lockdown etc. It's not quite like watching a death toll rise but it's nearly as morbid when you consider the effects of no action.
I'm not overly fussed if Sneap wants to take the microphone and go on a covid rant to the audience but I'd really love to see our Covid Response Commander bust out a "V" half way through his chit chat and rip out a couple of JP riffs.
