I can't get over how good Rob's voice is even on shitty mobile phone footage.

This is essentially their 50th anniversary tour that didn't happen last year so there is a big focus on stuff they haven't played in a long time. Not sure how much of Painkiller has been out of the set.

For all the talk we (and others) have about bands like Anthrax and Megadeth ignoring some older songs, imagine the songs JP have to leave out of a 27 album career.

Looking at some of the songs they have added after all this time it must have been a hard choice picking songs. Some of the songs they haven't played since 1976

It just really sucks that Tipton can no longer pull off the more challenging material as he really deserves to be able to!

At least he is still involved in the band and does get to do some gigs.

I struggle to watch Sneap on stage, not because of his ability but because the dude looks like our Covid Response Commander (one of the guys in charge of reporting how the state is responding to out breaks) who is on TV every few days. The guy is pretty up beat, seems honest (which shows he's a health professional not a politician), and is a dead ringer for Sneap if he doesn't let his beard grow out more than a few days.I watch Sneap on stage and expect him to tell me about how many covid cases we'd got in the state!

Well that’s a grim reminder indeed!

We might be past grim here, we actually have daily press conferences with multiple figureheads explaining where each new case is, what area is effected, locations where cases have been and whether or not those cases are obeying rules. These press conferences are probably more watched than any news service because people want to know what effect new cases are going to have, whether they stay in lockdown etc. It's not quite like watching a death toll rise but it's nearly as morbid when you consider the effects of no action.

I'm not overly fussed if Sneap wants to take the microphone and go on a covid rant to the audience but I'd really love to see our Covid Response Commander bust out a "V" half way through his chit chat and rip out a couple of JP riffs.
