The funny thing is only yesterday Rob suggested he's friends with Ripper, then a day later Ripper comes out saying they should tour together. Ripper sounds like the kind of person who tells you they are a friend today and asks to move in tomorrow.

When I was living in a share house in Sydney we woke up to two Gypsy Jokers sleeping in the bedroom of the 16yr daughter of the woman I lived with. At the time Gypsy Jokers were one of our worst 1% Outlaw Motorcycle gangs, and we lived in Comanchero territory, not a great thing to wake too. Another time I woke up to find a (different) boyfriend of the 16 year old had brought his pet tarantula to live with us. But fuck me dead I still prefer both those things to the thought of waking up to find Ripper asleep in the spare room!

Seeing them at that age again reminds me of the Badlands film clip. It's like watching the film clip for Helloween's I Want Out. The bands looks so young it's hard to believe they are the same band we are seeing on the big stages today.
MC...or Kurdt has made any announcement about the band but I imagine they are done right? They can't comeback with yet another singer.
There definitely needs to be a tribute!

I actually hope they don't come back. MC haven't been headed in the right direction for the last few years, even if their studio albums were a bit whimpy but they still played the old songs on stage with the force and power they used to I'd have been happy but that wasn't the case. I fear that if Kurdt got another singer it wouldn't be to recreate a MC we know and love.

It's a bit silly really. I don't sit around thinking about how old I am, or thinking about how much better things were, but when I see a clip like Badlands I think about how much different that time in music was.
No I wouldn't want to see them continue either, not even if the music was the same or better. It was just Kurdt and Mike anyway. Let it go.
