Classics Reborn

Weirdly enough I never count calories, I look at salt content, I look at sugar content, but not calories which isn't really the way to loose weight. When I start looking at calories my mind starts thinking diet and keeps telling me I'm hungry. Whereas looking at salt and sugar is a health thing not a diet thing. Sometimes my mind does stupid things. The idea of doing exercise is sometimes a little hard to overcome but strangely enough those times I am struggling but still get up and do it I do feel better when it's done. If only there was a way to do it without the effort :)

The thing that is screwing me up at the moment is that it's still dark at 6:30am but it's still not winter. It's even worse when daylight savings is coming in September and daylight can be as early as 4:30 with the sun getting up around 5.
Yeah I completely understand that. I have kind of the opposite issue because I have no idea what’s bad amount of either. Unless it’s some absurd amount lol.
Haha, I know! There really is such a thing as an exercise high. Who’d have thunk it!
My hours are not going to get fixed anytime soon. It’s seems like the more I try the more messed up they get.

I don't know the exact figure of calories someone like me should have, but I do know things like crisps, lollies, chocolate, soda etc have too many :)
The exercise lows are the hard ones, they come the day after when everything hurts and you wish you hadn't done it. I think the idea is to have less of them than you do highs.

My days really only consists of school/wife work drop off, school pick up, wife pick up, followed by dinner. Anything else just falls into the hours around those, nothing really has set times. I do occasionally have clients say shit like "ring me at 3 o'clock" or something like that but most of them accept that I am forgetful when it comes too times :)

I don't know if you have Trader Joe's there? But I've been looking at this single fudge covered sort of cookie on my table for 3 weeks now. I kept pawning most of them off lol.

Yeah that exercise bike can really do a number on my back. sometimes I can't do it everyday.

No we don't have them, but if there is a fudge cookie in any shop my wife goes to I'll guarantee she will bring it home :)

The weird thing I've just noticed is that walking hurts me more than bike riding. I'm one of those people who walks really fast when I'm by myself, I don't really mean to I just do it. But yesterday I parked the car at the school and walked to the hardware shop, a round trip distance Google claimed should take 55min on foot. Google's estimates are usually a bit slow but I did the walk the round trip in less than 30. I was sweating something terrible and was buggered when I got back to the car, but that's just the way I walk. However today I'm paying for it in the shins and ankles. Whereas the hour and a bit I spend on the bike every day (except wet days because I'm afraid of getting wet :p ) doesn't hurt me at all. If this is all a part of getting old I say fuck off old age!

I think multiple Hollywood movies promised us ways to make old age either go away or at least be easier to handle. I feel ripped off that such things have happened. Bloody Hollywood!

Bloody weather too! I just got wet trying to find out if my new shed leaks. Didn't really expect rain today so when I heard it I rushed out to see if my last batch of sealant had worked. It has worked but it's created new fucking leaks and I got drenched trying to figure out where they are coming from!

It's really does suck that once you seal something you need rain to see if it's worked and if it hasn't you get wet trying to make it work. There should be a better solution! I did try using a bucket of water the other day but instead of simulating rain that was like simulating a small tsunami and we don't get many of those :)

I question the authenticity of the "remaster".
Brutal Planet Records is a subsidiary, or maybe even a sister company to Boone's Overstock.
Metal Blade don't have any mention of the remasters of High and My God, the two albums released on their label.
Boones website and their FB page seem to be the only mention of these on the Internet.

I'm not suggesting these are unauthorised, we know smaller labels buy albums all the time and re-realese them, shit Killing Is My Business has 24 different releases. However I would expect a genuine remaster to be done from the master tapes. I don't know if these guys have the ability to do that but if they are just remastered by someone with a studio who is paid to clean up old recordings are they really value for money?

I wonder if the band can answer the question of whether it's an official release or just a cut and paste job.

Hmm. Curious. Most curious. All good questions. I think someone should ask them on twitter or FB or whatever it is they use. I don't wanna wear out my welcome with Gilbert lol.
