Jason has always had a better singing/growling voice that Hetfield, even on that stage there wasn't enough Jason.

Although the commentary at the start about being better than Metallica sounded like Lars speaking.

There is something about Death that does make putting them on repeat easy.
Obituary is the same for me, I can ignore quite a lot of current death metal but old Obituary and Death are regular spinners for me.

I love the way this guy takes himself so seriously yet knows he's a complete joke. There is some good players on the the album too.

It's dated now but it's still a classic piss take on the metal world and its funny to see some of the faces that appear in it.
Everything they have done is so over the top stupid and funny it's a pity too many people at the time took it as an insult to metal. The only thing that beats it is Bad News

I suppose they are cameos in some ways but people like Fran Descher weren't really that well known when Spinal Tap came out so she was more just an extra I think. But Rob Reiner is in it, Dana Carvey, Billy Crystal, Paul Shaffer, Angelica Houston, even Blackie Lawless got a scene or two.

Isn't every hip hop movie a comedy of itself? I know a few years ago Ice Cube put his son in the role of what was essentially the bio of his coming into fame. I'm not sure how comedic it was though I think like most movies about black youth it was probably less comedy more 'look how rough it was for us'.
