Probably a bit of both. No idea how good Slade is these days but I preferred his drumming to Rudd. He was a good drummer and that strange bald head bouncing around on the kit looked funny

Seems odd that the band is outside yet they are not happy they've been caught outside. It's not like the studio would be the only place they visit in town, it's not like a band or noted person can travel anonymously in this day and age. There is more than one person who knows AC/DC are in Vancouver, yet apparently they are not pleased with one reporter? I suppose the story could be true but to me it does stink a bit of people just trying to make up any story they can without actually having a story to begin with. Could also be that they aren't pissed with one reporter taking photos but with one reporter hanging around like a bad smell and harassing everyone who walks into the studio from the producer to the dunny cleaner for information about what AC/DC are doing.

Haha yeah, could be making up a story to get a story. You're right They aren't exactly hiding and they've been a very big band for a very big time. They shouldn't be surprised by any of it. If you don't want to be seen. There are ways to do it. Going to a place they are known to use isn't it lol

The whole thing is a ruse, they aren't recording a new album it's a kid's Christmas album with no instruments, just vocal harmonies.

It's Rob Halford's 67th today.
He's clearly aging but he's doing well for someone his age

Yeah same age. I think Rob would look a lot older with hair.

Another interesting fact is that Gene Simmons is only two years older than Rob on the same day.
It's gotta be the lack of hair. Maybe the skin puts more effort into not looking old and saggy when there is a chromedome to look after.

Some videos of the old fella rocking out here. He does a darn good job and so do the rest of the band. Looking forward to seeing a pro-shot of this latest tour, although I wonder if that's going to be part of the 50th anniversary next year given that they probably wont have time to write and release a new album.

Yeah they sound good! From what I watched. And there are a bunch of those songs I don't even know. The only part I don't like is in Painkiller when he says "This Is" and it's not the fact that he's older and it's not as high. I don't think that part ever really sounded good live except maybe when it first came out.

I've always thought the studio version of Painkiller was better than any live version. It might be studio magic, in fact it probably is, but I don't think I've found a live version of the song I like as much as the studio
