Dianno apologised for being wrong...translation I was right again.
The band were up and coming and did well....translation JP were always better until I left.
I was diplomatic...translation I don't really know what the word diplomatic means but I've heard it used in this context.

I wonder what the difference is between the two bands highest grossing albums and tours. Not that that has anything to do with this.

The thing I take from this is that Maiden were an up and coming band, their first major tour, when JP took them on the road the first time. It's also been noted that Dianno was often quite toxic to everyone, and the rest of the band apparently did have egos bigger than they might have deserved. But that's what being a cocky upstart of a band is about.

To me KK is cherry picking an event that was previously documented, twisting it a little to make IM sound worse and him the diplomatic legend, then in case anyone wants to dispute it he makes good in a few sentences by saying PD admitted fault years later. Well PD did admit fault in his book, but among the ego and bullshit of his book he apologised to just about everyone, I also think his apology was laced with horseshit because at the time of writing he was still heavily influenced by booze and drugs. To me this is another backhand attack where KK is the legend but he's not bullshitting enough to be called out on.
