I don't really know why he had to say anything, but it seems like he thinks it was expected of him to say it, then when he did say it some people disagreed. I actually agree with him Nostradamus was a good record. It was a bit long as most rock operas tend to be but there was nothing bad about the album.

I don't think I've heard even one song from it. And hearing that it's keyboard saturated I probably never will.

It's an epic rock opera, it does take a bit to get into but it's metal and it's good music. They copped flack at the time for it being different but pretty much every band that breaks a formula cops shit and a lot of it comes from people who never give it a chance. It's not an album that will ever be a regular spinner for me but it well worth being in the collection.
