Yeah seems to be getting worse by the day. A cut, then surgery, then a few gigs cancelled, then more surgery and more gigs, now more surgery. Hope they stop the infection.

Yeah I thought whole thing sounded like some cry baby shit. Re recording doesn't sound like a good idea. What kind of production can he afford? And also yeah, what about rights? lol

I wasn't a huge fan of his, but it really does sound like a cry for attention.
I can't figure out why he'd suggest he'd just re-record something that he's own partial rights to at best. They guy must be hoping for the sympathy of the fans who do like him

It is interesting how he shits on the other members of the band any chance he get but the convicted child molester was a good bloke.

Interesting that he'd do it for the fans more than anything but he mentions the way it gets presented and the money first in every interview. Of course it could just be that he's too caught up in idea of being in the limelight again and he is struggling to make sentences come out right but in every interview I have read it's presentation and money before fans.

I couldn't watch the thing, but it's interesting how few articles these days actually associate Paul with anything other than Mr. Big. I still think he's a better guitarist than Mr. Big allows him to be but I guess it's all about what is popular.

Oh he is definitely a better guitar player than he is in Mr Big, same with Billy. I think with most of their fans that's what attracted them to the band in the first place. Sure they have a couple singles lots of people liked back in the day. but it was excitement of have these monster players that really fed them and the music they've made that kinda dumbs down that talent pretty much blows.
it's that talent that made them stand out.

Yeah I think it's always been about money for Ace. He's not alone with such thoughts many musos would think that way but realistically his solo stuff has never been that well received and there is no doubt that even as a player only he'd make a shitload from a final tour from KISS

From what I remember reading his KISS solo album sold better than the other three and Speeding Back To My Baby and New York Groove were kind of rocking little songs, but I don't know that anything he was released since as been that memorable. Maybe he's a good player and he can play that lump of wood but there is no way he is or ever was as brilliant as he suggests he was.

Yeah I believe they were on hiatus but I think he's still been playing as Mr. Big longer than anything else. I'm not sure. TBH I can't name any songs. I think there might have been something along the lines of "I Want To Be With You" or something like that from the first album which made them popular but I don't think I could name another song. I'm sure their fan base is probably heavily based on nostalgia but I'm sure those fans still think it's really good music too.
