CoB moved up a step in North America?

i've always wondered about CoB's record sales....^ this helps me a lil bit. is this globally or just in finland? id be curious to know what the US sales are....i think CoB are definetly getting bigger. ESPECIALLY after AYDY. at the UA concert i went to in Salem Oregon....i think just the floor with the most pit area had about 1+ people in it. probably 2k+ more sitting in seats. you wouldn't believe the resonse when bodom came on....all fuckin 3 thousand hands went up in the devil horns. the mosh pit went CRAZY!! i saw tons of ppl w/ CoB shirts, good to know. i think CoB maybe one day will get an arena........who knows. wouldn't you call Wacken pretty big? not like an arena....but there's ilke 60k people that went this year...

^Yeah, definetly. At unholy alliacne when Mastodan was on, no one was even there for them. But when Bodom came on, the real concert started. The moshing and crowd surfing went crazy and everyone was chanting their name before and after the show and screamed for Downfall.

is this globally or just in finland?

Global record sales, if CoB would have sold so many albums in Finland alone, it would be like almost 1/5 of the population in Finland having buyed a record of CoB. The Children still have some work to do before they get into the big league, but who cares as long as they keep on rocking :headbang:

Normally I wouldn't be bothered, but I was bored so I took a little research and found some information about albums sales of five of Finlands most best-selling hard-rock/metal bands (The Rasmus is not included although I was expecting them on the list).

1. HIM (approx. 4,1 million albums sold)
2. Nightwish (2,5 million)
3. Apocalyptica (2,4 million)
4. Children Of Bodom (810 000)
5. Lordi (380 000)

Worthless information, but if there is somebody interested...

The Rasmus have sold more than 1 million copies of Dead Letters (so they must be pretty close to 2 million with all their other albums included) , but I think they were not included because they're not hard-rock, they're pop-rock...

I wouldn't have more competition! I'd beat all those girls to Alexi. I'll stay his number one fangirl. I don't really see how HIM has so many fangirls. What' so great about Ville Valo? Alexi's a billion times hotter and cooler and isn't a sissy.

You know, crazy fat women like Alexi too...one would probably eat you. or suffocate you with their fat...whichever is more appealing to you.

They definitely gained popularity with this tour. They always played at the same place before this tour.

The new venue is where In Flames now plays, Evanescence played their first gig there, Megadeth played there also before the first Gigantour and Slayer played there a couple of times before the Unholy Alliance. Anyway you get the idea...
