i dont think its real and i'd like to see where they got that from. But i know CoB wouldnt do a fucking 20 minute set on ozzfest. they'd do AT LEAST a 30 minute non-rotating spot or co-headline, or even headline (but if this line up is right i'd rather see slayer with the 50 minute set...hell i'd rather see slayer period)

Sounds like the lamest Ozzfest yet. God, it's been getting so much worse the last couple of years. The only band I would remotely want to see is Fear Factory.

well i'm a huge slayer fan but missed ozzfest 2004, so i've never seen em live. the DVD Still Reigning is awesome, though i guess that is to be expected from a DVD...
The side stage would (for me anyway) be a lot better than the last few years. i really dont like the hardcore/metalcore/trend-of-the-week-core/whatever-the-fuck-they-call-themselves...

They always have the gayest bands playing both stages and it looks like the trend will spill into 2006.

Sorry to say you're wrong. Ozzfest has gotten far better the past couple years, with the exception of the Iron Maiden incident. Compare the lists from say 01, 02, and 03 (P.O.D., Drowning Pool, Adema, Slipknot, Papa Roach, Linkin park, Chevelle, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson) to the lists from 04 and 05 (Iron Maiden, Slayer, Dimmu, Priest, Shadows Fall, In Flames)...way better bands on the last couple Ozzfests. And I'm only listing bands from the main stage.

Metallica, honestly I don't think they need to do this, they can headline on their own. I don't know why Maiden felt they needed to do it either. They're both better than that. But Metallica, as long as they played the old shit would be cool.
