I don't know if I'd categorize it as black metal or death metal. It is REALLY fucking strange. Perhaps, you could say the music is more death metal (albeit really fucked up sounding death metal), and the production is more black metal.

Goatlord is the bands fourth best album, behind TH, UAFM, and SJ. Dark melodies, odd vocals, and garage-like production. You can hear the bass very well. I like the album a lot.

old thread - im going to add demanufacture by fear factory - the entire album has a very cold, dark, atmosphere to it. probably the first "cold" album i heard.
