I took a listen today on Colins production and i must say that i think i like hes mixes the most of the metal engineers out there. Didn't dig Slipknot because it sounds like a drum machine, and don't fit their style of music but other than that. Machine heads album from 08 sounded so sweet. Perfect blend of separation and punch, clarity and awesome guitars

Anyway I think when you put your regular metalhead into their "comfy at home" mode (flip flops, glasses, ...) they look hilarious and goofy as fuck... see some of the Cannibal Corpse dude during one of their latest albums (The Wretched Spawn i think) tracking.
