The Crow by O' Barr is probably my best. The artwork is surely not the best I've ever seen, but the comic is so powerfull...
I've also bought some issues of The Poison Elves and Conan (the new ones, which are really nice).
Mister O rules.
Quino also makes nice ones.

I'm just entering my comic obsession this last year
Kabuki, 30 Days of Night, Lore are the forerunners at the moment like. Got few collector's editions of Spiderman and Wolverine. Some good stuff dated 81 which aint that long ago to you lot i know, but i was -4years old then.
Infact I just finished an assignment on the creator of Kabuki, David Mack.
