Do you know any examples of commercial mixes made only with software plugins etc? Mix, and master ONLY with software, no hardware stuff...only some good preamps on beginning, later everything on computer...

Definitely. Though that's not to say there aren't merits in adopting some analogue into your system.

All of my mixes so far have been 100% ITB, but that doesn't include the hardware comps involved on the way down, nor the various outboard used during mastering. It's very easy to adopt a hybrid approach even if you mix solely ITB.

I saw an interview with Frederick Nordström some time ago where he said he switched to all ITB mixing.... I'm pretty sure the Dimmu Borgir album was mixed that way.

all my stuff... is that considered commercial?
yes but you are using some external EQ like neve for e.g, or some compressors i think? :)

you know guys, my english is really bad but I'd like to know is there some good metal, rock productions in big labels that are made only with vst's, rtas blablabla heh
