what was also cool is when the singer of Circus Maximus came on stage to help conception out with Cardinal Sin...Just like on the album, many voices singing the chorus.....gave me goosebumps

I'd rather have a singer tank on a note he may not be able to hit and take it down an octave or so into something he will hit and that sounds good within the context of a song, as opposed to straining for a note that he'll either miss or outright kill. That being said, I thought damn good and have no major issues with his vocals or performance. As a whole, Conception easily ranks in my top three performances of this year's fest, and way up there in terms of all the bands I've seen at PPUSA. I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to see a band I'd only discovered a few years back and once though I'd never see together on a stage. Now if only they wouldn't have run out of XL t-shirts....
