I know there was a bunch of threads on this but can someone tell me the stories for there concept albums. I searched and could not find a full answer.

Opeth's?

Still Life is about a painting Mike had to do of a bowl of fruit.

The album is said to be about a ghost who realises that he still exists, and the record opens with him witnessing his funeral. However, while he is still alive, those around him are decaying and empty, and all that mattered to him is broken and falling away. The progression of the album can also be seen as linked to the progression of the seasons, the final song ending with winter, and leading back into the first song with the beginnings of spring.-Wikipedia on MAYH

Still Life gives the narrative account of a man who returns to his home town after years of exile in search of his beloved Melinda. He discovers she has been engaged to another man, but still loves him. She is then taken away from him. He goes on to kill people in the town that have exiled him. In the end he is caught and hung.

Mikael Åkerfeldt named his daughter Melinda after the character in this album.

abbreviated, but you get the idea.

Fans also argue whether following albums were concept albums, although the band has either made no comment or denied it. GR is pretty thematic though.

I think mike mentioned before that the people where the exiled man was from were feverent christians and exiled him because of his opposong believes to their own.

what other concept/theme albums are there? Blackwater Park is a theme of disgust for humanity, right? I know the story of My Arms Your Hearse.

Are any of the others concept or theme? thanks.

BWP is thematic but isnt a concept.. so yeah its about lepers and winter and suchlike but these are merely themes to build an atmosphere
