Considering selling my copy of HER TEARS DROP

Yeah, well, well....I have an autographed vinyl copy of KISS - DYNASTY, where Bruce Kulick and Eric Singer turned over the cover and signed the back!!!

BEAT THAT TOUGH GUY!!

Ok, you'll appreciate this one.....I once sat on VOIVOD's tour bus for a couple of hours before a show on their "Outer Limits" tour, ate dinner with them, helped Piggy write the setlist for the evening, and then got escorted into the club by him since I was not yet 21 years old and it wasn't an all ages show. He then let me stand on the side of the stage during the whole show and at the end he gave me the pick he used all night, which I had laminated to a cool old pinup of him from an underground 'zine. I win.

Piggy was the coolest, man. Not only one of my heroes but one of the nicer "rock stars" I've ever met.

Nice one Larry!!!
That was at Empty Bottle right?
I remember when that happened, but I was downstate in Champaign, IL for college.

During the Dimension Hatross era, my brother and I sent the band a letter through their fanclub correspondance, and AWAY sent us back a hand written letter, in his "voivod" font!!! Wonder if I still have that somewhere.

I have Paul's teenage collection of Kiss Alive I and II with the tattoos, Kiss Army order form and all the goodies they came with in mint condition. He sold me them for $25, 20 years ago. I also have Love Gun with the cardboard and paper gun inside and an unopened Dressed to Kill. And all the 1st edition of the Kiss cards. I still put the puzzle together on the back of the cards.

Awesome!
My older brother was a member of the original KISS ARMY.
I remember as a kid he gave me one of the KISS ARMY folders oyu would get periodically. This one had an 8" X 10" glossy of Gene in it.

I need to go back to my parents house sometime to see if I can find all this old stuff.

i remember borrowing Paul's copy to learn Nothing Earthly, but i'm almost certain i gave it back eventually. if for some reason i find it, it'll go back to you Paul. but i never had a copy of this of my own.

Hrmmm...I am going to go out on a limb here and say that YOU don't have Paul's copy......

Hey guys,
As much as it kills me, I think I might have to seriously consider putting this bad boy up for sale.

Before I go the eBay route, anyone here interested?

I wish I could buy it but I would certainly never sell it. It kills me to part with any music.

Me too!!!
But such is life.
I have sold a TON of rare stuff over the years, to help pay for moving, cars, kids, wedding, etc, etc.......

I used to have literally over 1,000 records!! (12", 7", 10", etc, etc).

When you need $$$ and there are people willing to pay over $200 for rare MISFITS singles, you know...sometimes you gotta do what ya gots to do!

Did you ever hang onto any of those Misfits singles, I don't remember?? That had to be a tough one to let go of, they're ridiculously rare.

Nope, I have NO MISFITS singles left.
I most of them, save a few colored pressings, except the original BLANK pressing of Cough / Cool.

The hardest to let go was my autographed copy of WHO KILLED MARILYN.
When SAMHAIN did that reunion tour in like 99 or whenever it was, Glen did an autograph signing session where he was willing to sign MISFITS related items. It was one of the first times he ever was willing to sign FITS stuff during the DANZIG era. I made good coin on that, still hard to let go!

Though, I have moved twice, gotten married, and had two kids since my SERIOUS record collecting days, so, while it sucked to part with it, deep down I have no regrets.

Oh, and in case some don't know what the demo looks like:

Hey man hope you get a good price, I know the feeling. A few years ago I couldn't work due to health crap and had to sell a ton of stuff. Worst of all was parting with my copy of "Kisstory" - I bought it at a gig on the reunion tour in 1996, at which point Bruce Kullick and Eric Singer were still officially in the band, so it was signed by Gene, Paul, Ace, Peter, Bruce and Eric

Looks like your cassette is in good condition anyways so that should help with selling it.

Hell, Steve actually going to a metal show is rare!! LOL Just fuckin' around ;)

Funny that you mentioned the Kisstory book Rich, as I had just pulled that down from the shelf a couple of days ago to read it again. Mine has the Ace and Peter sigs, no Bruce and Eric. It'd be cool to have the book with all six.

I'll be curious to know what that ND cassette sells for, if it sells. Watching our stuff sell on Ebay is interesting because it really varies. One time I'll see something like "Reflecting in Grey Dusk" sell for $50, and then next time it'll only go for $15. I guess it just depends on who is looking for it at the time and who happens upon it, etc.
