Russel, solid helium rocks, but the conditions you need to solidify it... well, it is not just the temperature :cry:

Russell: sonm is right, even though you would think otherwise, those temperatures aren't the normal winterconditions of Finland or Russia. sometimes it feels we're getting close, but... ;)

:lol: No, I wasn't under the impression that your winters got down to 0.1k ;) I just know they're probably way too cold for me :erk:

You'd also need extremely high pressure to solidify helium wouldn't you? :)

The lowest temperature I experienced in our place called Chernogolovka was -48C. Was nice to go for a stroll in forest. Trees were crackling and the ice was growing on my eyebrows and beard. Was really cool time:)

I don't remember such frost ever was in our places while I've been living there
since born
