COPS

Just talked to the wife about your situation. ...Turns out she has a cousin in Indiana who's a corporate lawyer. He might be able to put you in touch with the right people if this gets blown out of proportion. PM me if it starts going bad :)

Absolutely and i appreciate it. Dont have another show until December so we will see what happens. Im sure the officer is checking are show dates on our myspace page, I have a suprise if he shows up to our next one, We are doing a heavier version of Body Count's Cop Killer:headbang:.

good luck man.

The door guy at the bar i work for almost got on a fist fight with an off-duty cop. There's no smoking in public buildings here in NY state and the guy put a ciggarette in his mouth and tried to light it as he was about to step out the door. and the door guy yelled at him and told him no smoking. the guy says im not, im going outside, etc... he tells the door guy "i'm a police officer", but the door guy has to be the Alpha male and it almost became violent. that was his last night at the door for the bar, the next day when i show'd up to work, the cop was there talking to the owner who was doing damage control.

Found this actually as I was rooting through old newspapers while washing the windows in my house today; a 40 year-old Polish guy who had just arrived in Canada to start a new life with his mother had a miscommunication with her and was marooned in the airport for 10 hours. After getting understandably agitated (and speaking no English), he attracted the attention of some cops, and the first thing they did was tazer him - which killed him! Another guy got it all on tape, and at first he felt that the cops were right to do so (the tazering, not the unintentional killing), but he submitted his tape to the police department, and after fighting for a month to get it back, watched it again and decided that the Polish dude really wasn't posing that much of a threat. Really sad story, imagining someone so vulnerable, in a foreign country with a foreign language, just trying to start anew. Here's the link to the scanned article:

It wasn't the tazer that killed him, it was the four cops kneeling on him that asphyxiated him. One kneels on him, he can't breate, so he struggles. Next thing you know, 3 more are on him, trying to get him to stop struggling... Of course, he struggles harder, trying to breathe. Well, the cops finally won. He stopped struggling. And living.

Those assholes are going to be facing manslaughter charges very shortly.... The RCMP has already been tarnished by a corruption scandal, & the Canadian People aren't going to tolerate this shit. As mentioned above, they confiscated the video & weren't going to give it back.

Here's the video. Proceed with caution, this is some heavy shit.

That was just way too fucked up. Yeah, the man seemed a bit threatening when bashing the chairs, but that's an extreme case of unnecessary use of force. Makes me sick.

My friend just spent last saturday evening held up in the station. He was walking the street alone and put out his cigarette when a patrol car stopped him and got him into the car. At the station the cops claimed he had thrown a rock through their windshield (which he naturally hadn't done). He argued and argued to no avail, and when he demanded to see the bashed windshield the cops yelled that they didn't have to show him anything. He only got out after a third cop came in and told the other two to let him go.

The same dude got once stopped by a lone officer in the street who did a body search to him with no apparent reason. He took his wallet, checked it through, took the money and told him he could go. When he asked for his money the cop acted like he didn't know what he was talking about. When a bystander said he saw the officer take the money, he finally agreed to give it back.

Corruption for the fucking win.

That fucker needs to learn a lesson, thats sure :headbang:

What concerns me over more is that the whole american officer friendly thing is happening here (mainland europe, the rich part on the left) more, and more often. I think I'm just gonna run to the hills, theres no justice anymore :erk:
