Hello there!
Let me share our recently released debut EP "Ordnung muss sein!". If you're into straight, non-experimental metal, you may be interested. Here it is:
http://youtu.be/iUktDjjz36s
1. [in the mix] 90-95% of this sound comes from Ignite Amps/Variety of Sounds/Vlad G/GVSTs combo. Especially from Molot - you can "find" this sick compressor almost on every channel (in one way/level or another)
2. (mentioned earlier) Ignite Amps are just insane, you can squeeze literally any sound for guitar and bass you'll ever need in your metal project.
3. [at the mastering] This time I tried to keep it really simple: panoramic eq/VOSTDL SlickEQ/FerricTDS/Molot/Limiter№6
Basically I tried to tread this material "according to rules", i.e. mix it just like it would be no mastering (not even one "we'll fix it during editing/in the mix/during mastering"). Such an approach has paid off more than I expected!
4. Also let me know if there would be any interest for RAWs. Although I'm not a virtuoso, and these tracks may not be perfect but for practice purposes - why not
...
Of course every opinion is required
.
Cheers
Gaclav
P.S. If you like this sound and need some help with production/editing/mixing/mastering - feel free to contact me
