An idea popped into mind and I just want to check this
out with u guys 1st.

Ok I don't own a power attenuator and I don't trust myself to
make a dummy load.

What I do have is;

1. Marshall Cabinet Jack Socket
2. An old G12T-75 (16 ohm) speaker

here is the could I part lol;

Could I plug the speaker out of my krank into the Marshall Cabinet Jack Socket which will be hooked to the G12T-75 (without the speaker being in a cab)

I would be using the krank line out to record with impulses, my gf is going fuckin nuts with me recording/micing my 4x12, and the krank really can’t be recorded at low volumes, and i obviosuly cant use the line out without a load, i could use the fx send but ive compared fx send vs lineout and the linout sounds far better.

The idea with the G12T-75 would be too burry it in a sealed box thus no noise and no moaning from my gf.

yes a dummy load would be the easier option but I don't trust myself to make 1 and no cunt sells them + I have the Socket and G12T-75 kicking around anyways so I figured i may aswell try it out.

This should be fine right?

Yeah i thought about the iso box option through this also.
Id prob prefer to buy a v30 if i went ahead with that though.

because the G12T-75 is 16ohms, i can run the krank at 4ohms into this right?

I just recieved my Weber MASS-200, it's an attenuator and a load, and it has speaker motor load, and I'm a very happy guy right now!:D
For 215 bucks, you could do yourself a favor.
