Man On The Silver Mountain (Rainbow)
Lady Evil (Black Sabbath)
The Last Resort (Eagles)
Lady Love (Robin Trower)
Suite Madame Blue (Styx)
Lady Fantasy: Encounter/Smiles For You Lady Fantasy (Camel)

Yea, they're probably obscure recommendations, but each tune would allow each member of the band to shine. Do'em all!

Wow, great list! It would be a thrill to hear Man/Silver Mt. But am I hallucinating, is that now being used in a commercial? Yuk :err:

Yeah!!!
A Tears for fears cover would be great.
For example:
Break it down again,
Cold,
Year of the Knife

I think Ted are agree !!!

I support also LADY FANTASY (CAMEL)

Cool idea...

I could well imagine you enchantizing

:D Winger's "Blind revolution mad" (great guitar work by Reb Beach)
:worship: Rush's "Natural Science"
 Hittman's "Radio Waves"
:tickled: Kansas' "Play the game tonight"
:Smokin: Tears for Fears' "Pale Shelter"
:Spin: House of Lords' "Remember my name"
:loco: DT's "Pull me under"

and on top of that I would really love, like many others, a cover of your older songs as they could be enhanced in more than just one way, not musically, but soundwise and who knows you might come up with an even better version of "Nighhttime Sky" (though that's very very hard to imagine)

BUT: You should spend time on new songs as well....lol

Happy Easter from here...

Critical Mass or Lifeflow (the acoustic version!) from THRESHOLD

Everyday Glory by RUSH

Don't Be Late <Chapter2>, Careful Where You Step, (Goodbye) Once Upon A Time, and Catwalk by SAGA

To Say Goodbye (Still Here) by ICE AGE

and THE WALL by KANSAS!!!! :hotjump:

I personally like when 'prog' bands do covers of pop songs. IQ does an awesome version of Mama Mia. Here are some random suggestions, prog & pop. Dont think I would do metal though.

Rundgren - Can we still be Friends
Utopia - Crybaby
Police - King of Pain
Tubes - Talk to Ya Later
Journey - Dont Stop Believin
VH - Dance the Night Away
Styx - COme Sail Away
EWF - September
Queen - Bicycle Race
Prince - Purple Rain
U2 - The Unforgetable Fire
Missing Persons - Words
Tears for Fears - Power (maybe a bit too unknown-- Mothers Talk)
BOC - Burnin for You
Zebra - Who's Behind the Door (would be cool)
REO - Roll with the Changes
Led - Ten Years Gone
Rick Springfield - Jesse's Girl
many others.....

Really Silly
Macarena (?sp?)
Beat It
Lovin You - Minnie Ripperton (I would love to hear Ted hit that note)
Stayin Alive
Love Boat Theme Song or Greatest American Hero TS
Rapper's Delight
Smalltown Boy - Bronski Beat
Earache my Eye
F*ck the Police
Yub Yub - The Ewok Song at the end of Return of the Jedi

Progwise
Rush - Necromancer or The Trees
Yes - Done Already but if another .... Machine Messiah
Genesis - Done Already but if another ..... The Lamb Lies
Saga - Goodbye Once Upon a Time
Kansas - Closet Chronicles
Be Bop Deluxe - Life in the Air Age
Camel - Echoes
Floyd - Done too but my big wish would be Dogs (Would be incredible)
UK - Danger Money
Everyone else like KC, Gentle Giant, Caravan, etc... dont waste their time.

NP: I Believe in a Thing Called Love - The Darkness --- Come to think of it, Enchant would do an excellent cover of this tune

I love the idea of Enchant covering Kansas, but my preferential song would be The Wall. Powerful emotions and a rocking tune.

Or Natural Science by Rush would be another good one.

Wow.. someone possibly a Zebra fine besides me! And yes, I think even Ted might be challenged. Who's Behind the Door would be an excellent choice.

I agree with welshentchantfan...

Queen would be great, there has never been a proper cover of any Queen tune.

I'd like to hear some real old stuff, like "White Queen", "Liar" or "April Lady".

How about doing a complete cover album (as a Bonus CD for your next album's limited edition perhaps?!?)

Hey StockontoMalone!
Jeff Scott Soto has a concert dvd with 42 Queen songs and its simply
AMAZING !!!!
I think some songs are better than originals !!!
CHECK IT OUT !!!

I dunno! I´m not into old prog... so the beatles, Led zeppelin? hmm...
Boston - more than a feeling
Cannibal Corpse - hammer smashed face ?
